I Really Mean it This Time!

Hello, I am Sherry. I just experienced my 46th birthday and my wish is to be healthy and fit by 47. Today I am getting all of the necessary things in place to track my progress. I plan to share everything I experience through my BlogToSkinny.com blog. I promise to reveal all! The Good, the Bad, & the Hungry! : )

Today is September 13, 2009 and I am finally at that place again where I must make a drastic change in my daily habits to reap the drastic results I constantly dream about!.. I have done this too many times to count and want to make sure I keep my eye on the prize, "A Healthy Lean Body!"


I have never used a blog to keep myself in check, however know it provides a powerful source of accountability if used properly. It is my intention to provide helpful techniques and eating tips to assist anyone wishing to be fit.

It is now 10:40 pm and I had a fantastic day... I kept to my plan of healthy foods by keeping them at arms reach all day. No cheating for me. I am replacing refined products with whole grains and natural sugars. Basically, I am eating a healthy selection of foods. Replacing the bad stuff with the healthy replacement and will share these with you later within the pages of this blog.

I also spent 40 minutes on my treadmill. Actually felt really good when completed the 2.1 miles. I am going at a steady pace for starters. Usually when I start my exercise routine back up after backsliding for several months I try to do what I had built up to before and always end up having a setback due to over extension of muscles that arn't quite up to the challenge. Today I succeeded by taking it slow. Gotta ease back into what I know will change my life again.

Remember, life is meant to be lived one day at a time. Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, so enjoy the present and know you can do anything for one day.

I have my measurements from today and had my husband take some pre-workout photos for comparison. This will be fun! I can feel it. I will post them all when I have more time to write.
